Introduction
The Emsworth Community Association (ECA) was set up 25 years ago with the object of promoting the advance of education to the local community. The Association is non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.

The ECA is responsible for the running of the Centre, situated between Church Path and North Street and relies heavily on voluntary help both physical and financial. Maintaining an old Victorian School building owned by Hampshire County Council is expensive.

Construction of the new building to replace the old Horsa Hut is well under way and will be completed by June 2004.
